Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our 8 bedroom bed and breakfast property and 1-bedroom holiday cottage. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions or require clarification of the facilities provided, please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.

Public Travel to Tintagel

• Tintagel has a bus stop at the top end of the village in front of the Visitor Centre. Services operate from both Bude to the north and Wadebridge to the south. The walk down through the village to Bosayne is approximately 5-10 minutes.
• The main train station is at Bodmin Parkway approximately 45 minutes by road.
• There is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis if required.

Arrival by Car & Parking Facilities

• On arrival at Bosayne the car park at the rear of the property is accessed through our driveway at the side. The driveway is 2.7m wide. Some drivers find it difficult to manoeuvre their car into the driveway and should only do so being aware that it is at their own risk.
• Alternative free on-street parking is available very near across from Bosayne leading towards Camelot Castle hotel.
• Parking is limited to 4 guest cars on a first-come-first-served basis. We recommend reversing into a space for easy departure.
• The surface is level, flat and laid to gravel
• If the car park is full, we endeavour to place a “CAR PARK FULL” sign at the drive entrance. Free on-street parking is generally available across from Bosayne towards Camelot Castle Hotel.
• Customers should be aware that there is no pavement from the end of Bosayne’s drive to the front gate of the property. Please look carefully right and left, particularly for a farm vehicle, before either crossing the road or walking alongside the wall to our gate entrance.

Main Entrance & Reception

• The front door is accessed through a small porch and has one step 19cm high.
• The front door is always locked but we do have a bellpush to the right of the door.
• The door is 770cm wide
• On entry into our home there is a hallway 2 by 2 metres
• There is fitted carpeting throughout the ground floor
• Public Areas – General (Internal)
• The hallway has a good colour contrast and well lit
• The covering on stairs and upstairs corridors is short pile carpet
• The guest lounge and breakfast room are on the ground floor.
• Our office is to the rear of the hall and has a bell-push to attract attention.
• Payments will be taken in the guest lounge/ hall way
• There are 16 stairs to the first floor bedrooms.
• The stairs are 19cm high, 30cm deep, 69cm wide

Public Areas – WC
There is no public WC available on the ground floor

Guest Lounge & Breakfast Room

• The guest lounge is accessed from the hallway adjacent to the front door.
• The lounge door is 71cm wide and has a self-closing device fitted for fire safety compliance
• The lounge has an array of comfortable settees and armchairs with easy access around the room.
• A coffee table and drink making facilities are available
• The Breakfast Room is accessed through the guest lounge.
• There is 1-step down into the room 22cm high
• The door is 66cm wide and is kept open during breakfast service only.
• Breakfast is served in the breakfast room only.
• Furniture is placed to accommodate the numbers of guests resident.
• Tables have under space of 65cm high by 71cm wide and height of 77cm (legs on each corner). Chairs have padded seats.
• Menus are in the guest book.
• We play background music in the Breakfast Room during breakfast service.

Conference & Meeting Room
For large groups, use of the guest lounge is available.

Bedrooms & Facilities

• There are 8 bedrooms, 5 on the first floor and 3 on the second floor
• There are no ground floor bedrooms available for guest use

First Floor Bedrooms & Facilities

• There are 16 stairs to the first-floor bedrooms
• The stairs are 19cm high, 30cm deep, 69cm wide
• Door widths (Guest rooms and Room 5 & 6 shower room) are 70cm wide
• A chair is positioned at the top of the stairs to allow guests to rest as required

Moonstone (Single)

• This room is situated at the top of the stairway and to the right
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The bed is positioned to the rear of the room allowing easy access around the space
• Furniture is moveable on request
• Divan bed is provided, 48cm high
• High-level wall-mounted television with remote control
• One armchair and one stool are provided in the room
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• A washbasin is provided
• Toilet and shower room facilities are shared with Rose Quartz (see below for details)

Rose Quartz (single)

• This room is situated at the top of the stairway and to the right past Moonstone.
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The bed is positioned to the right side of the room allowing easy access around the space.
• Furniture is moveable on request
• Divan bed is provided, 48cm high
• High-level wall-mounted television with remote control
• One Victorian style low nursing chair and one stool are provided in the room.
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• A washbasin is provided
• Toilet and shower room facilities are shared with Moonstone (see below for details)

Shared Shower-room & WC (Shared Rose Quartz and Moonstone)

• Located opposite Moonstone on the left side of the landing
• Door width 70cm, inward opening
• Free floor space clear of the door is 60cm x 120cm
• The toilet is 46cm high
• Good colour contrast of non-slip vinyl floor, tiled walls, fittings and fixtures
• The shower cubicle has a step/edge of 12cm high and quadrant sliding doors 60cm wide.
• The shower is electrically operated by use of a pull cord situated behind the room door
• Small sink in vanity unit provided for hand-washing.

Malachite (Twin en-suite)

• This room is located on the right side of the landing after turning left at the top of the stairs.
• The landing width is 80cm wide.
• Access into the room is 70cm wide.
• The beds are positioned along two walls.
• Access to the beds is between with a width of 40cm
• Divan beds are provided, 48cm high
• High-level wall-mounted television with remote control
• One stool is provided in the room.
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• The en-suite has a corridor arrangement 60cm wide with a vinyl floor.
• A washbasin is provided, adjacent to the toilet.
• The shower cubicle has a step/edge of 14cm high and a bi-floor door 60cm wide.
• The shower is electrically operated by the use of a pull cord.

Lapiz Lazuli (Double en-suite)

• Located after Room 4 on the right side of the landing
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• Access around the beds with a minimum width of 50cm
• Double metal framed bed is located in the middle part of the room with bedside cabinets provided on either side
• High-level wall-mounted television with remote control
• Two bucket chairs are provided for relaxation, located in the bay window area
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• A washbasin and vanity unit is provided in the bedroom, adjacent to the en-suite
• The en-suite is fully tiled with toilet and shower
• The shower cubicle has a step/edge of 13cm high and a bi-floor door 60cm wide
• The shower is electrically operated by use of a pull cord
• Free space around the toilet is 50cm wide
• The floor has a vinyl covering

Amethyst (Double en-suite)

• Located opposite Room 3 at the foot of the second-floor stairway
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• Access around the beds with a minimum width of 50cm
• Double metal framed bed is located in the middle part of the room with bedside cabinets provided on either side
• High-level wall-mounted television with remote control
• Two bucket chairs are provided for relaxation, located in the bay window area
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• A washbasin is provided in the bedroom, adjacent to the en-suite
• The en-suite is fully tiled with toilet and shower
• The shower cubicle has a step/edge of 13cm high and a bi-floor door 60cm wide

Second Floor Bedrooms

• There are 13 stairs to the second-floor bedrooms
• The stairs are 20cm high, 24cm deep, 80cm wide
• Door widths (Guest rooms and shower room) are 70cm wide
• A chair is positioned at the top of the stairs to allow guests to rest as required

Onyx (King size double room en-suite)

• This room is located at the far end of the landing after turning left at the top of the stairs
• The landing width is 75cm wide
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The king-size bed is positioned centrally in the room.
• There is a sloping ceiling housing Velux windows fitted with blackout blinds in the bedroom and the bathroom.
• High-level television with remote control
• Two bucket chairs are provided in the room
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor.
• The en-suite bathroom contains a bath with electric shower over, sink and toilet.
• It is necessary to step into the bath to access the shower.
• The bathroom has vinyl flooring.

Tigers Eye (Single)

• This room is situated across the landing between Onyx and Turquoise
• Small single most suitable as a child’s room in conjunction with Turquoise room
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The single bed is positioned centrally in the room
• Due to the sloping ceiling access is restricted to the left side of the bed
• The sloping ceiling has a Velux window installed, fitted with a blackout blind
• Divan bed is provided, 48cm high
• Tabletop television with remote control
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• A washbasin is provided
• Use of shared bathroom (see below for details)

Private bathroom (Tigers Eye) – (can be shared with Turquoise)

• This room is located at the top of the stairway across the landing
• Can be used by Turquoise guests when rooms booked together or Tigers Eye unoccupied.
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The shower cubicle has a step/edge of 13cm high and a bi-floor door 60cm wide
• The shower is electrically operated by use of a main switch
• The toilet is behind the door
• The floor has a vinyl covering

Turquoise (King size double room en-suite)

• This room is located across the landing after turning left at the top of the stairs
• The landing width is 120cm wide
• Access into the room is 70cm wide
• The King-size bed is positioned centrally in the room
• Tabletop television with remote control
• Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
• Good contrast and décor
• The en-suite contains a washbasin, bath with hand-held shower attachment and toilet
• Access into the en-suite is through a 70cm wide door
• The sloping ceiling has a Velux window installed, with blind
• The en-suite is part tiled with vinyl floor fitted throughout

Bosayne Cottage

• This is a 1-bedroom self-catering cottage
• Access into the patio is through a metal gate 75cm wide
• The patio area is 300cm long by 100cm wide
• Entrance into the cottage is through a half-glazed door 70cm wide with one step up 20cm high
• The ground floor is open plan with kitchen/diner/lounge arrangement

• Access to the bedroom is by staircase 80cm wide, 24cm depth and 20cm high with 16 steps. A turning curve existing at the bottom of the stairway restricting the depth of 3-steps
• The bedroom has a double and single bed installed with a minimum free walking space of 50cm around the room
• The en-suite has a basin, toilet and electric shower installed. Access into the shower is by a step 12cm high and through corner sliding doors 60cm wide
• Free Wi-fi (password activated) access is available in the cottage

Grounds and Gardens
We have a small enclosed garden (flower border and lawn) at the front of Bosayne for residents to relax in (2xbenches installed)

Additional Information

• Tintagel village centre is a few minutes walk from the Bosayne. Turn left out the front pedestrian gate.
• The headland is 300m from the B&B. Public disabled viewing access for Tintagel Island and ruined castle is within Camelot Castle Hotel grounds at the headland.
• Assistance dogs are welcomed within Bosayne.
• Mobile phone reception including 4G is generally good
• The front door is the final exit in the need of evacuation, the fire alarm rings continuously if evacuation is needed. If you require more assistance for evacuating please notify us on arrival and we will ensure you are evacuated safely e.g. hearing impairment.
• An assistance card is available in all rooms. If required it should be placed on the outside of the guest bedroom door.
• We provide a guest information book in all rooms.
• An up to date assortment of brochures are available in the entrance hall
• We are happy to take delivery of hired equipment (please let us know if ordered-telephone number below for hirers)
• We are a no smoking building (smoking is allowed in the small garden to the front)
• We supply a small fridge in the bedrooms which can be used for medication/food/drinks.

Hours of operation:
The B&B is our home so is generally occupied 24 hours. However, we also value our free time so may not be at home outside of check-in hours (ie up to 4pm and after 7pm).
